I Feel ...

Happy - For the way things are turning out on the professional front. I have proved myself at work and got a good name as well ... Peaceful - The way my life goes as of today by the grace of GOD Enthusiastic - About attending one of my college mate’s marriage. Our entire college gang will be re-uniting in that marriage. It will be fun Impatient - Waiting for Feb 7th to come, so that I can see all my college friends. Breathless - After seeing "Slumdog Millionaire". They have shown the ugly side of Mumbai in a realistic way. Silly - When I told all my colleagues that my dentist has asked me not to take "cocaine" for two months, instead of "caffeine". They all laughed non-stop after that comment. Worried - About something, which I don’t know what it is, but worrying... Satisfied - With my new Blackberry Bold. It’s cool and sexy. Nagged - By severe eye irritation, due to lack of sleep. Work is very hectic nowadays. Excited - I generally don’t get exc

Eyes ... Never Lies ...

Suresh was very busy with his usual morning routines. He recently got married and also purchased a new house which is worth crores. He deserves this kind of a life as he had put in all the hard work to come up in life to this level. Suresh is the CEO of one of the leading leather company in the society, he completed his graduation in IIM and was flooded with offers from all the major companies of India, but Suresh chose to stand on his own and hence he became an entrepreneur and now his company is very near to a monopoly in the market. Suresh dad was a rag picker on the streets and all suresh had seen in his younger days were dust and polluted house of his on the platform of a busy mount road in chennai ... It really took a long time for Suresh to change his image of being a person from a very poor family. One good thing to be mentioned and appreciated about Suresh dad his, though he roamed across the streets of chennai for a living, he made sure that he gives the vital "education

Murphy's Laws for IT ...

I am sure everyone knows what Murphy's laws are all about. I just thought of creating some laws of that kind which would suit this IT industry, the industry where this nut has spent 11+ years now. Here come few of my imaginations and I am sure you folks would enjoy reading this... 1. Your employer is never a pay master. 2. You always end up in a project where there is no onsite opportunity. 3. Project which has onsite opportunity is always in pipeline. 4. All beautiful looking girls will never be in your project. 5. Your company's caterer is always the worst in the market. 6. You always miss a bonus, just because you were new to that company. 7. Person at your next cubicle will never be a girl. 8. The girl you eye in your company, always has a boy friend there itself. 9. Your project manager will always be a "reserved" personality. 10. Always your onsite trip gets postponed just before a week you were about to travel. 11. There is always an error when you show a demo.

Being Independent ...

Sridhar is very well known in his locality as the most eligible bachelor, he works for one of the leading production company in the world and earns much more than an IT professional. His parents were looking out for a girl for his marriage and proposals were flowing in left right and center. His dad, who is known as a very orthodox person, was very particular in horoscope matching, he wanted all the 10 matches in a horoscope to be perfect and that is also a bottleneck in terms of finding a girl. Sridhar normally does not interfere in such things, as he wanted his parents to take a decision and he would simply abide to their choice ... Sridhar is not so young, he is 32 running and he had his own problems in facing a crowd, whenever he appears for a marriage of some function, all eyes will be on him and everyone used to gossip why a guy of his caliber is not married yet, those talks soon turn out to be speculations and speculations turned out to be rumors and finally there emerged a &quo

Tagged by Sandhya ...

Ah, I should say that I tagged myself from Sandhya's blog. I found that quite interesting so thought of answering them. I would want Amrita, Shylu, Chandru and Chennai Girl to do this on their blog. Just wanted to be the first person to have tagged them in 2009 :) Here we go .... 1. What have you realized lately? Hmmm ... All that glitters is not gold 2. Have you given your first kiss away? Of course yes, but don’t remember when. Kiss here does not say "To whom", so I assume that to be for anyone and I think I have kissed so many cute little kutties. I am still single so the rest of the imagination goes void. 3. If you were stranded on a desert island, which 11 blog buddies would you take? Ah, I don’t want my blog buddies to suffer in a desert island, I would somehow manage to escape and come home. 4. Where is the place you want to go the most? Tanjore - Periya Kovil. It has some magnetism in it which attracts me all the time. 5. If you had one dream to come true, what wo

A Must Watch Video ...

Hi Folks, I generally don't recommend any videos to watch unless it has a pinch of humor in it, but this video, really shook me and it's a must watch for all youngsters like us. I think we are the only united force who can change this world and lets start acting towards a change, a change that will change the future generation. Its high time we all react and attack the problem at its root rather trying to clean up the mess. Just listen to this master piece speech given by a girl from Canada at the UN conference which happened at Rio this year. She made the entire world to listen and be silent for 5 minutes. Girl who silenced the world for 5 minutes Let me know your thoughts on this speech and think hard about what change you and I can bring into this world.

Tour Diary - 2008

I had a very cool vacation this time. I always had a passion to go to villages and mingle with people who live there and this trip was simply fantastic I that aspect. Though I had been for a pilgrimage tour, most of the GOD's live inside a remote village where the atmosphere is simply calm and serene. I have a serious plan of getting settled in a village once I retire, and that desire has gained more strength after this visit, but as you all know, "Man proposes and GOD disposes", so I don’t know what's there for me in store down the lane ... It all started on a lovely morning, I took an auto to go to a temple called "Thingaloor" which is supposed to be one of the "Navagraha Sthalam". It was a perfect day for outing; sun was so kind and warm, with a thin layer of cloud cover over it. My auto went between two paddy fields on both the sides, it was lush green and all the crops were full grown and is about to be cut in a few weeks from now. The aroma t

Welcome 2009 ...

I always welcome new year by going to a temple which is at "Thiruporur" it’s very close to Mahaballipuram. Even I were abroad, I used to come to INDIA during new year and start my year from Chennai, I am a lil sentimental here also I used to have sentiments like first phone call received/made, first sms sent/received, first email sent / received so on and so forth and anything could change but my first phone call and first sms would always be for one special friend of mine who has been an integral part of my life, but I am not a superstitious person though... I drove my car after a long time, I like to go for long drives. The roads at OMR were simply too good to touch 120, but I had my dad sitting next to me so I could go only up to 80KMPH. I had a good darshan and this visit concludes my pilgrimage tour. I came back few minutes back and I called up my close friend and wished her my first New Year wish. I too have taken a resolution for this New Year and that is nothing but &
